My sweater tee is several years old, but this tee is beautiful and similar!
Well-fitting jeans can be a needle in a haystack, especially these days, when we are blessed (or cursed, depending upon how you look at it) with sooooo many options.
But what's even harder are well-fitting cream or white jeans! I think cream anything can be SO tough. Cream can skew too yellow or look dinghy. A truly good cream is hard to find. I found not only great-fitting jeans, but they are also the perfect shade of cream.
Talbots recently sent me a few lovely items, but these Jeans stood out. So much so, I figured they needed their own post to give them a proper highlight. And even better? They're under $150 (at full price), but you can currently get them for 25% off with code SMILE.
The quality is perfect. The fit is perfect. They are slim through the thigh and then start to taper outward around the knee for a wider flare at the ankle. Between the cuffed hem and the fit, these feel very modern, and I mean that in the best way. The cream is the *perfect* shade of cream. It's not yellowy, not dinghy, but just the perfect smooth, off-white shade.
Although I wear white jeans year-round, cream Jeans are my go-to in the fall and winter, when bright white sometimes feels too harsh. In the summer months, I love a cream-on-cream outfit as you see above, and navy looks so great with cream in the summertime!
These Jeans are high-waisted (but not *too* high-waisted), they are completely opaque, and you cannot see the pockets. There's a touch of stretch (1% spandex), but they're not super stretchy- just enough for added comfort and softness. In person, they look rigid thanks to the fact that they're 99% cotton (but they're not since there is that tiny amount of spandex). To give you an idea, the Frame jeans I love that are *super stretchy*, like they might as well be leggings they're that stretchy, this is what they're made of: 77% cotton/ 18.5% modal/ 3.5% elasterell-p/ 1% elastane.
Give them a try! I'm always happy to find a great pair of denim, and even better, at a great price!
