Timeless, Ladylike Dress For Holidays and Beyond

I got this Dress last year around the holiday season, and it quickly became one of my all-time favorites. The shape and silhouette remind me of something British Royalty would wear. It's so ladylike, elegant, and timeless. I also love that it has long sleeves and a longer length skirt, as it's the perfect thing for cold weather here in Pittsburgh. Not only that, but it's also the ideal modest style for a business casual look. It's polished and formal but in a way that will turn heads. 

To give you an example of how versatile it is. My husband, parents, and I went out for drinks and dinner before a holiday show at City Winery. It was the perfect, festive night out look. Then, in January, in the dead of winter, I wore this to speak on a panel at the University of Pittsburgh School of Business. It was perfect for the occasion, and I think the red color was nice because it really made me stand out since so many tend to wear dark, neutral colors for business dress in the winter months. 

The fabric is tweed but it has a nice touch of stretch to it adding comfort and the perfect fit. I love the zip at the chest becase you can control how low to go! They changed up the style slightly this year by adding gold detailing at the cuffs and it's in a deeper red shade, but it's the same dress. They also did it in a brown and black with some gorgeous piping if neutrals are more your speed. If you browse through the dresses, you can see that this is a signature style of theirs that they do in maxi, midi, and even shorter lengths. They do it in different fabrics throughout the year and I just could not love it more! 

Overall, this brand runs true to size as does this Dress! It's the perfect thing for the holiday seaosn and beyond. A bit pricey, yes, but definitely one of those versatile pieces you can reach for over and over!
