Hello everyone! I have been following blogs since about January and decided it was time that I start one, and what better time than summertime! I'm not exactly sure how the whole blogging world works, so give me a little time to learn. I have already made my "layout" so I think I am off to a good start. Here are some things about myself (I'm going to refer to friends and family using their monograms):
-I am 19 years old
-I attend school in Virginia, but do not live there (I am not going to say for which school I attend or where I live, as I'm not certain that it is safe to give too much information such as that!)
-I have a younger sister
cCm who will turn 16 in January
-I LOVE my
Australian cattle dog
mCm
-My favorite item that I own is either my vintage
Gucci bag given to me by my aunt or my diamond ring given to me by my grandparents
-I love to shop... some of my favorites are: Lilly Pulitzer, Ralph Lauren, Brooks Brothers, Vineyard Vines, J. Crew,
Talbot's, etc..
-I have a passion for jewelry, whether it be classic pearls or an
oversized cocktail ring, I love it all.
-I am in Zeta Tau Alpha sorority
- I am a huge fan of the Harry Potter series
- I absolutely love music. I have an older taste in music. I am not the usual rap-loving teenager. I really love Frank Sinatra (hence my blog name) and I love jazz music and classical music, but of course, I also love to dance which is why I love Justin
Timberlake and various pop music.
- My all time favorite food is sushi, crab legs, and perogies.
That's enough about me, here is what I have been up to in recent weeks:
I saw
Coldplay with boyfriend
bRc and
bff kJa and it was out of this world. I have been a huge fan of
Coldplay for a while now, but have never seen them live. Let me tell you, they were amazing. They played all of my favorites such as: "Fix You", "Green Eyes", "Lovers in Japan", and in their encore, they played my all-time favorite "The Scientist". It couldn't have been a better song to end the concert with, plus it was the perfect night: not a cloud in the sky and a nice cool breeze. Plus, at the end of the show, they were handing out free copies of a live CD called "Left Right Left Right Left" and you can download it at this website:
http://www.coldplay.com/lrlrl/lr.html , you just enter your e-mail and country and a copy downloads right onto your desktop!

Last night,
bRc took me to see Up, the new
Pixar film. I have never seen a movie in 3D and it was neat. The glasses were not the most fashion-forward but they were a good laugh. The movie was really cute, and had a fun story line. I do
recommend it, however, I am a huge fan of
Pixar films and was expecting Up to surpass my love for Wall-E, but it did not. Wall-E still remains as my favorite
Pixar film. Check out the Trailer for Up on YouTube:

Moms beware: however PG this movie may be, after the movie, I was in the restroom, and their was a little girl around the age of 5 in there with her mother, and she was saying how scary it was. I can see where she was coming from... there is a scary dog in there, not to give too much away!
Well that is all for my first post! I hope you all have a wonderful evening and bear with me as I figure out how to get better acquainted with the blogging world!
Yours,
sCe
