These Boots Were Made For Walkin'
This summer I have welcomed a second pair of cowboy boots into my "collection". After wearing my last pair of boots to death, I have no deemed them my "frat boots" because now I wear them out to parties and don't mind if they get messy. So the above boots are my "nice" boots which I will only wear when I know they won't get messed up.
I got them in Georgia at a Cowboy store and I am in love with them. They are Dan Post brand and the quality is truly unmatched. They are very different from my other pair. They have no stitching on the foot, a pointier toe, higher stacked heel and are darker in color and shiny. Definitely a very different look but I love them!
What brand are your favorite pair of cowboy boots?
Have a fabulous day!

Sonora by Double H Maggie Boot
While on vacation in Georgia, we stopped into a new boot shop that had just opened up. I was in the market for some new cowboy boots and my luck was just right that day because I am now a proud owner of some gorgeous new boots (post on that to come!).Well, while in there, I spotted the most gorgeous pair of boots. They were even on clearance (I can't for the life of me remember the price!). But I remembered to type the brand into my phone and have literally scoured every site to try and find these boots but I can't find them for sale anywhere! They only had a size 5 and a size 6 in store and there was no way my size 8 1/2 foot was ever going to fit!
The only thing I could find out about these boots is that they are the Sonora Maggie by Double H boot. I can't really find any other information on them. I don't even know if this is a good brand. But when I felt these boots they were exceptional quality and so unique compared to any other boot in the entire store! Does anyone know about this brand of boot or is anyone the lucky owner of this boot!? I am no longer in the market for a new pair of cowboy boots, but if there is anyway I can get my hand on a pair of these, then these will be my next purchase! Aren't they gorgeous?! Have a fabulous day!

Cowboy Boots Part II
If you read this post , then you know I invested in my first pair of cowboy boots last year. Needless to say, it's a year later and I still love them. They really are my shoe of choice for most occasions, although for summer they take a back seat and my Jack Rogers take over. Well, fall is right around the corner and I am once again going to invest in a pair of cowboy boots. This time, I am thinking about a more fashionable boot rather than a classic cowboy boot which is what I already have.
I love these boots. What do you think? They are Laredo brand (I'm not so well-versed in cowboy boot brands, so is this a good brand?) They aren't too pricey- just around $150 and they look like they would be perfect under jeans or with a sundress. Should I take the plunge on cowboy boot round two? Let me know! I need everyone's opinions! Have a fabulous day!

These boots were made for walkin'
The western shop in Pittsburgh where I found my boots!
When deciding to travel 5 hours south for college, I thought I was in the 'deep' south. Being the northerner that I am, little did I know, I barely made it past the Mason Dixon line. Of course, I'm no stranger to the south; our family has a lake home in Georgia, and the tiny town it is located in is most definitely the deep south. Not to mention I've traveled all over the south for some fun in the sun. I will always be a northerner at heart and love Pittsburgh with all 5'6" of me. However, I see why everyone says 'the south will rise again'. My whole point of expressing my somewhat new found love for the south is because I just got my first pair of cowboy boots. I will give all of my southern readers a moment to gasp... yes I am 20 years old and have gone all 20 years without cowboy boots. I'm actually not really sure how I survived all 20 years without boots, to be honest. They just make sense. So without further adieu, here are my beauties:Sorry for the poor quality of the picture, this was a BlackBerry mobile upload. I love them. I decided to start slow and got the most traditional pair I could find. They are a natural tan color, 100% leather (even the soles!) with the classic stitching. They have a perfect beveled heel, a little bit of a snipped toe, and they are the perfect calf height. I wear them with pants, skirts, dresses, and everything in between. Not to mention, with heavy socks, they keep my feet nice and warm. My next purchase I have decided I'm going to go a little "exotic" and I'm going to get a cool skin or a fun colored pair! Do you have cowboy boots? Do you love them!? Have a fabulous day!
