How To?

I thought since today was the start of my school's sorority recruitment, I'd post my own tips on how to dress up a t-shirt. Of course, there is only so much "dressing up" you can do with a t-shirt! This is not only for girls in sororities but anyone in any organization that needs to wear a t-shirt to spread the word about their organization. As many of my long time readers no, I rarely, if ever, wear gymwear or sweats to class, however, I do wear sorority letters and t-shirts when we are supposed to (which is practically everyday during recruitment season!). With that said, I don't pair my sorority t-shirts with gym shorts or sweatshirts and wear my hair in a pony tail (except when actually going to the gym!). I always try to make this type of casual outfit look as put together as possible.

Sorry about the fuzziness of this picture! Here I paired my sorority letters with Banana Republic seersucker shorts, a double strand of pearls, pearl earrings and a bow in my hair. This look is still casual but much more put together looking than just wearing the t-shirt with running shorts and tennis shoes.
Sorry again about the fuzziness. This is one of our recruitment shirts that my wonderful roommate designed (isn't she talented?!). It is a navy-blue v-neck t-shirt with a little bit of pink and white. Here, I paired this shirt with a Vineyard Vines pink seersucker skirt, pearls, and a bow headband.
Do you try and dress up your t-shirts when you have to wear them? I would love to hear your tips! Have a fabulous day!
Yours,
sCe

Back To School!

Lilly Pulitzer Smart Cookie Backpack $78

It's back to classes for me! First week of classes are either a breeze or overwhelming, let's hope this semester they are a breeze! With this Lilly backpack, it would just brighten everyone's day; Unfortunately, I think I'm a little too old to be toting around this beauty. Someone please buy this for their child! I have several classes with some close friends so that is something I'm definitely looking forward to. Also rush starts in just 2 weeks and I cannot wait to get new girls into our sorority and find a Lilly loving little. Everyone who is going back to school, good luck and best wishes for a fun-filled year!
Yours,

sCe

**EDIT

Here is my 2nd day (first day of second round of classes) outfit:
