Besides getting work done, I also started on my wedding workout routine that I will hopefully stick to until the wedding (ha, we shall see). Some home items arrived (which I shared on Insastories earlier this week), I tied up a few loose ends in terms of wedding planning and have been binging on Breaking Bad. I only started it a few weeks ago and I already started season 4. So. Good.
We also have officially planned our honeymoon! We went a totally different route than our original thoughts and dare I say this is not your typical honeymoon... I literally stumbled upon it while researching and was so excited when my fiancé loved the idea, too. So. Excited.
Wearing: This is what I wore this past weekend. The weather was incredibly perfect so I took that as the perfect opportunity to wear one of my newest favorite tops! It's a beautiful faux suede material and the color is very pale sand so it basically goes with everything. I love the slightly puffed sleeves and the smocking around the wrist. It's one of those really easy tops but looks special. They also made a black version that's not faux suede (so it is slightly dressier) and that is at the top of my wishlist! So chic.
Eating: If you have a Costco membership, I highly recommend getting their homemade chicken noodle soup. It is absolutely fantastic. The taste is so flavorful and fresh and filled with hearty vegetables, chicken, and noodles. It's located in the refrigerated area with the prepared foods (kind of near the rotisserie chicken).
Reading: Dog owners, have you all seen the FDA's warning about many brands of dog food? I saw this just recently and while Henry doesn't eat any of those brands, the warning also covers pea and lentil ingredients. I noticed Henry's food (Canidae Salmon) had peas as the 4th ingredient. So we are going to slowly switch him over to Nature's Logic. I did a lot of research and this seems to be a really great dry dog food and one without lentils or peas. I bring this up not only for you all to be aware, but also if you have great, healthy, and safe food suggestions for dogs that you use and love, let me know in the comments below and so others can learn from you, too! Henry goes to his yearly vet appointment in the next month or so, so I'm going to chat with him about it, too! I'll report back!
Watching: Movies coming out fall 2019. I haven't seen a movie in ages so I hope to see one this fall at some point. I love me some movie theater popcorn, ha!
Listening: This is my latest favorite song. It is so funky and upbeat!!
Loving: These headbands come in a set of 3 and look so much like Gucci but are only $13 for the set! They are so cute and dress up any ordinary outfit. Plus, they don't hurt at all!
Wanting: Did you guys see that my favorite, Lake Pajamas, just released their latest collection and my requests have been answered! They created a crewneck style with FULL long sleeves! I ordered right away. SO excited. See this post for my full review of the brand.
Pittsburgh-ing: This past weekend we headed to Sewickley because they were having a fall event where they closed down the streets and there were tons of vendors. It was really cute and the absolute perfect day for it. We stopped and grabbed a bit to eat at Mediterra Cafe. I had been seeing it all over Instagram and it looked delicious and so cute. Well, it exceeded our expectations. It was SO delicious. I highly recommend!

I'm really looking forward to seeing Ford v Ferrari, Knives Out and the second Jumanji film.
Thanks so much for the dog food alert. I hadn't seen it. We feed Romeo one of the brands listed. We will definitely be re-evaluating is food.
Hi Sydney, thanks for sharing the FDA grain free alert! Awareness is super important as the FDA tries to figure out what is going on. My vet alerted me and we switched to ProPlan 30/20. I have large active dogs so the extra calories worked well for us and they have done well on it (very shiny coats). I looked at the food you are planning to switch to and pumpkin seeds were the 3rd or 4th ingredient. Legume seeds and potatoes are included in the investigation as well. You may want to talk with your vet and see if they have a suggestion. Hope this helps and good luck negativing this dog food issue!
Syd, which of the three headbands is your favorite? I ordered the three, but can’t decide which one is the most wearable!
