Beautiful Colorful Sundress

How fun is this dress? Doesn't it just scream 'fun summer party' to you?! You all know I love a colorful print but I feel like the primary colors and the print itself is a little out of my norm!

I wore this dress during my sister's bachelorette weekend in Isle of Palms, South Carolina. We actually went out to dinner on this night to Leon's in Charleston and then after dinner, out to several bars on King Street. It was a fun night and I couldn't believe it was warm enough in February to be wearing a summer dress. I likely won't be able to wear this in Pittsburgh until May at the earliest, but more likely June!

I searched all of my favorite retailers high and low for a dress for the night and just could not seem to find anything that I loved. I think part of the reason is that February was a little too early for all of the best spring items to be out but also, overall, I wasn't loving a lot of the options that I was seeing. I have been saying this for about a year now but whatever is 'in' right now is just not my personal taste so it is harder for me to find things that I love.

Luckily, I stumbled upon this dress. I love the Celia B dresses. They are all so whimsical and unique. Each dress seems to have its own personality!

This dress, in particular, feels special. It's really nicely made and the oversized ricrac is different from most things I have seen. I also love the ricrac trimmed ties at the shoulder! This is the perfect vacation or party dress.

I styled this casually with the espadrille wedges but I think you could dress it up with dressier heeled sandals, hair pulled back, and a small clutch!

Sizing
As for sizing, this dress runs true to size. If anything, I'd say size down. It's only fitted at the bust and ribs and the bottom portion has a nice roomy flared skirt.

Agreed! What's 'in' is so not my style. This is lovely!
