Cardigan (also comes in cream)// Sunglasses (under $20)
Right around this time of year is when I envy those who live in a slightly warmer climate. Though we have had a very mild winter, it's still pants and jacket weather here in Pittsburgh. In fact, I keep my jackets in full rotation well into May some years.
I love seeing everyone on Instagram in their spring sundresses, as it gives me great inspiration and has me longing for the temps to spike. Like our winter, our spring so far has been very mild, so I really can't complain! But whenever I want to dress like spring but be warm enough to go outside in the still chilly weather, I like to make an outfit out of a white base, so a white top and pants, and then top it off with something colorful for warmth. The outfit feels like spring, but I stay warm! It's a win-win, in my opinion!
I wore this outfit last week when I went out to lunch with my parents. It was about 50ish degrees so this was the perfect thing to wear!
This Cardigan is so nice. It's under $150 and has a nice heavy weight giving it a ladylike structure. It also comes in cream. I got a size medium but probably should have gotten my true size small as the medium is comfortably roomy, but I think this cardigan should be worn in a more fitted way due to the drop shoulders.
I thought I would share a few more recent outfits that have the same base as the outfit above but just swapping out the topper and shoes/accessories!

Perfect outfits Sydney! As a fellow Pennsylvanian, I too have sundress envy, but must get creative until our time comes. Thanks for the ideas. - KLV in PHL
