I have been so mixed up all week, thinking it was a day ahead than it actually was! I have no idea why, but it's had me confused on several occasions!
This week was very normal and routine! I had to rework my day today to shoot something later this afternoon for a project because, looking ahead, the weather all weekend is supposed to rain, and I need the sun for this project!
My iPhone has been acting up over the last several weeks. It's time for me to get a new phone, but I'm trying to hold off until the new one gets released this fall! I am often getting messages that my phone gets too hot. I've had that happen in the past when it's sitting out in the sun or something, but this is just random now. I literally put it in the refrigerator when it happens! I think the batter is wearing out, so I might just get that replaced in the meantime.
We don't have a lot on our agenda this weekend. I really want to find time to try out Gussy's bagels. I've heard such good things and have never been! Are you all doing anything fun for the 4th? We are getting together with some friends, which will be nice, and we may head to the pool for the afternoon. Lowkey but fun.
Really, not much to report from this week!
Sale: I love when Matches has a sale. They always do deep markdowns on some of my favorite higher-end designers. I try not to pay full price for these kinds of pieces if at all possible!
Watching: Is anyone else excited for season 2 of The Summer I Turned Pretty (Amazon Prime)?! It comes out on July 14th! You can watch the trailer, here. We are on season 3 of Succession right now, and I'm finding this season harder to get through... we are definitely sticking with it, but I do not love it as much.
Loving: I absolutely love this Tank. It's under $15 and comes in a few colors. It's lightweight and great to wear for an intense workout or on a very hot day.
Loving II: I have a pair of classic-looking golf shoes. Our family friend had purchased a pair for herself, and they did not fit her, so she generously gave them to me. Before that, I just wore my sneakers (and still sometimes do) because I don't golf enough to spend $ on this hobby. I'm golfing a touch more this summer, so I have been more interested in purchasing golf stuff. The pair I have from my family friend looks like a mix between saddle shoes and oxford shoes- uber classic and high quality. While I do like them, I also kind of want a more athletic-looking golf shoe. My mom keeps telling me how she doesn't like the look of athletic-looking golf shoes and prefers the classic look. I don't always agree with my mom (but she is usually right- LOL). When I'm out on the course, I wear athletic clothing, and I personally think a more sneaker-looking shoe looks better. I'm usually all for a classic, but I'm torn with this one. Those of you that golf, what do you think? The reason I bring this up is because Cole Haan just released a golf shoe, and I LOVE the look of it. It has sporty sneaker vibes, but I think they look a bit more polished than regular sneakers.
Loving III: Per usual, the J.Crew new arrivals are SO good.
Wanting: THIS DRESS OMG!
Amazon Rec: Did you catch my June Amazon Finds blog post earlier this week? You can find more of my Amazon favorites, here!
Smelling: So fun to partner with Viktor and Rolf and their Flowerbomb scent. It smells absolutely wonderful! You can shop it, here.
