We went to a friend's home this past weekend for a little get-together. It was frigid, but I knew I'd only go from the car into the house, so I didn't need to bundle up in my parka. I reached for this fabulous faux shearling car coat that I got several years ago from J.Crew. It gives me Gorski vibes but for WAY less. It's sadly no longer available, but it had me thinking about how chic cream winter coats can be.
In Pittsburgh, a winter coat is sometimes all you see of an outfit; therefore, I have collected many great pieces over the years. I just ordered this faux fur coat and await its arrival. I've had my eye on it since it first came out, but it sold out quickly. It's been popping in and out of stock, and I finally caught one in my size! I'm so excited and will report back about quality, size, etc.
I went on a search to find some similar options for this coat, and lo and behold, there are MANY cute cream coat options out there right now! Here is a nice little roundup for you all to browse. Some styles are on sale, which is always a win.

This was regularly $525 and is currently on sale for $105. Ignore how the stock photo styles it with a bright white henley tee because this coat is fabulous! It's also reversible, so you get the sueded look on one side, and the faux shearling look on the other. I love the collar! It also comes in black!

This one is low in stock but on sale for under $250 right now! I love the high pile texture on this one. It could easily be dressed up or down!

Another incredible sale find. It was regularly $298 and is right now on sale for under $70 with code SHOPSALE. This is another excellent classic double-breasted style.
And for those wondering, this is the simple outfit I wore underneath the cream coat and scarf! The jeans are skinny jeans (I know, I know) but they are SO comfortable and sleek for slipping into tall boots in the winter months! Plus, they're under $100.

Beautiful winter coats Sydney! It’s so refreshing to see something light colored in a sea of black coats. Black is not a flattering color for many, as it casts dark shadows on the face, so these ivory coats are a lovely alternative. I have an ivory coat, a pearl grey coat and a Peserico pale blue parka that I wear on repeat. I tend to grab these before the (many) other choices in my closet; they make me feel a little better in the cold gloomy Rochester winter.
