Our powder room is off of the kitchen and it is such a cheery little space. I love walking past it every morning with my coffee as there is so much wonderful natural light that streams through. I love wallpaper and I really wanted to wallpaper a part of our home so I chose the powder room. I think wallpaper can make a big impact in a small space and while I would have loved to wallpaper other rooms, it just makes more sense to do one small area (resale/or as a future income property purposes). I may wallpaper my office in something like a neutral grasscloth, but I doubt it. We'll see!!

I have loved this wallpaper print since the second I saw it. I ordered SO many wallpaper samples and seriously took months to decide on one. I'm usually pretty decisive but the wallpaper selection threw me for a loop. Gosh, there are SO many beautiful options. Funny enough, this is the one I originally wanted before I even ordered all of the other samples.

We hired a guy locally to put it up for us and in about 7 hours, it was all finished. He did such a good job so if you are in Pittsburgh and need a recommendation, I'd be happy to send you his number privately!

My parents ended up loving this wallpaper so much that they ended up putting it up in (what used to be) my bathroom at their house. It looks SO good there, too. It's bright and cheery and just gives this small little room a bit of fun and character!

The powder room came with a builder-grade light so I finally found something on Ballard Designs that I loved and we just put that up as the finishing touch.

The only thing I have left to do is add a small little piece of art above the towel rack to break up the pattern a little. I'm thinking of something simple and somewhat bold to really pop! But I'm in no rush to find the perfect thing!

I'm not great at interior design. I know what I like but I'm not always sure how to execute. However, I found that such a small space was pretty easy to execute and I'm so happy with the way it turned out! If you have been debating on giving your powder room a little makeover, definitely try it out. It cost less than I would have thought and the small changes made such a big impact! You can see the before, here.

Your powder room looks great, except the rug throws it off.
