Pajamas (thankful for my mom and sister!)
“For each new morning with its light, For rest and shelter of the night, For health and food, for love and friends, For everything Thy goodness sends. ” Ralph Waldo Emerson
Happy Thanksgiving to you all. First and foremost, thank you to all working on this holiday- those who are serving, first responders, and essential workers. I am so appreciative of all you do to keep all of our communities safe and running.
Our annual Thanksgiving is a dinner that my parents host each year. My husband and I started a new little tradition where he stops at a local bakery the day before Thanksgiving and gets some delicious things for us to enjoy on Thanksgiving morning with our coffee as we watch the Thanksgiving Day parade. It's one of my favorite little moments. It's such a busy time of year for me with work, and I find myself up at all hours working (not a complaint; it is how it is, and I do enjoy it for the most part), but it's nice to really decompress and savor the morning on Thanksgiving.
Friday morning, I will sleep in and then get to work! Last year, I had the LAZIEST day ever, and I hope to do the same this year, wearing this, hanging out, and maybe squeezing in a workout! We have some dinner plans and a get-together with some friends, but other than that, it'll be pretty low-key! My sister and brother-in-law are in town all this week so I am just soaking up time to hang with them!
I don't typically do a blog post on a holiday but you all mentioned that you'd like to not miss this week's lately post, so ask and you shall receive!
If you are in a food coma and checking on this post, you may want to relax and browse my gift guides thus far...
Watching: Did you all watch the most recent episodes of The Crown? I thought they were phenomenal. The acting was just spectacular and the cinematography and sets were perfect. I could not get enough and I am not someone who follows the Royals closely or knows a lot about the Royals, especially in the 90s and prior but still found it all to be riveting. I'm also still watching and loving Lessons In Chemistry on Apple TV. The main character is played by Brie Larsen and she is just absolutely stunning- I love her hair and clothes in the series!
Wanting: My sister swears by this sweater so now it is on my wish list! It reminds me of a J.Crew favorite that I have but they don't make it in enough colors!
