Monogrammed Leather Gloves

Last year, I fell in love with a gorgeous pair of monogrammed leather gloves from Mark and Graham. I never ended up purchasing, and I am so glad I didn't, because I found a pair for $45 less. There are so many colors to choose from and they're so similar, I'm convinced they're probably made by the same manufacturer and Mark and Graham's mark up is just way higher. 

I've added the red pair to my Christmas list. It's a great gift to give, because who doesn't like cashmere + leather?! Not to mention, these are well under $100, so it's a luxurious, but affordable gift! 

Leather gloves are a piece that will never go out of style. Hey, if they're good enough for Jackie O, I think they'll do for me ;) 

Another pair of leather gloves that I love (and have already broken out) are the above that Talbots sent me. I feel so chic in them and they keep my hands plenty warm. I took these photos just last week, and it's now pretty much too cold to go bare legged in Pittsburgh... so with the addition of tights, this is a great fall look. Something else that has changed since this picture was taken, literally only a few days ago... Starbucks now has red cups. Too soon in my opinion! 
I wore this to work last week and think it's a super easy outfit to wear. I've got a lot of neutrals going on with the white shirt, grey sweater, camel coat and then black watch tote and skirt. I truly think black watch is a neutral and treat it as I would navy or black. It pretty much pairs well with any color. 
I'm so into grey sweaters lately... I color code my clothing and my grey sweater pile is massive compared to any other color. I'm also really into this Daniel Wellington watch that they sent me. I'm a big watch person, and I had nothing like this classic face with the quality leather strap. I started a new job a little over a month ago, and the dress is a little more 'corporate' than my previous job, so this watch pairs well with that. I love the brown strap for a more casual look. Classic American Flag Sweater

I've loved this Ralph Lauren flag sweater forever. I remember having one even when I was little. It's such a great thing to throw on during the spring, summer and fall. It's become one of Ralph's classic pieces. I actually wear it over my bathing suit a lot but then also wear it with white denim. It was unavailable for a long time, but...drumroll... 

Ralph has brought it back! I don't own it in navy, but love the look. It would look great paired with Nantucket red shorts in the winter. My dad actually wears his with red wide wale cords in the winter and it looks great! This, week, I'm not going to lie, I didn't find too many things that I'm loving. A few are some tried and true favorites and some newer things I found, but for the most part, the online shopping world left me uninspired this week... but that's a good thing for my wallet's sake!

I shared some of my budget buys this week, too. I picked some of my favorite pieces that I own (like this coat) and get a lot of use out of and found less pricey alternatives! 
I shared a super casual look featuring a gorgeous necklace by my blogger/accessory designer friend, Emily Kammeyer. 
This weekend, my guy friends from college are visiting. They are coming up for the Steelers vs. Ravens game on Sunday (#HereWeGo) and decided to extend their stay to stay with me! I'm pumped to see them and get to show them around my favorite city! It's going to be tons of fun to get my Pittsburgh and JMU friends together-- so many great people all in one place.. now that makes for a darn good weekend... especially because it is JMU's homecoming weekend and I opted out this year.
