Recipes: Getting Inspired to Cook At Home

We have not been cooking a lot lately. My goal is to really try and eat 4-5 home-cooked meals each week. I would say most weeks this does happen, but sometimes I get into a spiral of eating takeout and going out for meals and that is what has been happening lately! I need to get back to a good cooking routine. I truly feel healthier when we cook at home all week! So we've been 'bad' and I need to get back on track!
So, I forced myself to do some digging around Pinterest to get inspired again to go grocery shopping and really plan out what we should eat for the next week or two. I usually do a seasonal recipe roundup but today, instead of focusing on the season, I thought I would share some recipes that caught my eye!

I typically don't plan out meals like this. I usually just buy meats, vegetables, and lettuce for salads and we will often just do a mix of that. It's super easy and healthy and can be mixed and matched depending on what we are in the mood for. But, it does get a little boring after a while. So whenever I need to be reinspired, I turn to different recipes and try to do better with my planning ahead.

Hopefully, I will re-read this post once it goes live to reinforce the fact that we are cooking at home! Do you all have any go-to dinner recipes that are easy, healthy, and exciting?!

We grill chicken often but this is an easy way to jazz things up a bit, especially with the summer season approaching.

I love making my own dressings and marinades. This Greek dressing sounds easy and delicious.

Salmon is one of my most favorite foods and so easy to make!

I love tuna salad and I have always made it creamy, but one of my favorite café's here in Pittsburgh makes a Sicilian version and it does not use mayonnaise or anything creamy. It is SO good. I can't imagine I'll be able to recreate Mediterra's tuna salad, but this recipe looks like a good start!

This is a recipe that isn't really similar to anything we have made before. It sounds fabulous!

If there is a recipe and I can somehow incorporate cabbage into it, I will. These sound wonderful.

I love spaghetti squash and my fiancé loves buffalo chicken so this is a great compromise.

Ok, this is not a meal recipe, but oh my goodness I could not pass this one up without sharing it! My fiancé is allergic to bananas so I might have to just make this for myself one night. YUM! And so easy and I would have never thought to do this on my own.

I love a good casserole and wow, SO easy.

Another easy but delicious chicken recipe. My sister loves to cook and she always shares Half Baked Harvest recipes with me.

Spring Dress and Metallic Espadrilles

Dress// Espadrilles (lots of retailers but linking the site on sale, similar leather option)
Bag// Lip Color (in babe, it's on sale!)
Shop the Look:
The one item I really want to highlight in today's post: these gold metallic espadrille wedge shoes. This style of shoe is such a summertime classic and has been around for decades! I find them to be very comfortable and stylish. They also pair nicely with most of my spring and summer outfits.

There are a ton of different brands that make this style of shoe. I have worn this style of espadrilles from brands like J.Crew and Soludos. However, a few summers ago, I ordered Castaner. Unbeknownst to me at the time, Castaner is the brand to buy when it comes to espadrilles!

I originally ordered these metallic espadrilles to replace an old, worn pair of Soludos. I had no issue with the Soludos brand and almost ordered the same exact pair I was replacing, but spotted these metallic espadrilles and had to have them!

Once I got them in the mail, I thought they felt so much nicer than my Soludos. So I got my Soludos out to compare and sure enough, the Castaner espadrilles were better made. Not to say Soludos are poorly made by any means, they are a great brand, but the Castaner shoes were next level!

All that to say, if you are looking for a comfortable, classic, neutral summer shoe, this is IT! They run true to size and are very comfortable.

This entire ensemble reminded me of the movie The Talented Mr. Ripley. I could see Gwyneth Paltrow's character, Marge, wearing something of the sort traipsing around the Italian coast. If you haven't seen the movie, not only is it well done and well-acted, but oh my goodness is it FILLED with eye candy. The clothing and sets are just beyond. I think it came out in the '90s but is set in the 1950s and the outfits are just spectacular.

I shared this dress on Instagram and someone sent me a DM saying it reminded her of the dress Liesl wears in The Sound of Music, and I also totally see it because it has a very similar silhouette!

Things to Spring Clean

Things to Spring Clean
It is no secret that I have a love for organizing and cleaning. We hired a cleaning service at the beginning of 2020. They stopped coming when the pandemic began and I just never re-hired them. They did a great job, but I missed cleaning!

There are a few chores that I loathe, but for example, I cannot stand unloading the dishwasher or hand washing dishes. I would rather clean a toilet than unload the dishwasher, ha!! Luckily, my fiancé does not mind doing that at all, so he usually takes care of that. Otherwise, I actually enjoy it all! Is there a chore that you just cannot stand doing?!

With spring here (yay!) I thought I would share my top 5 things to prioritize with spring cleaning!

Car Interior
This is something I think a lot more people outsource than do themselves, which is totally fine. We have a lot of services here in Pittsburgh that will even come to your house or office and detail your car. I just really enjoy doing my own car's interior cleaning. I vacuum it out, scrub the weather mats, wipe everything down, etc. etc. I am someone that has to have a clean car, but even with regular upkeep, the gross snow, slush, and salt residue can build up. Gross. I deep cleaned my car last weekend and it's been so enjoyable to ride around in a very clean car!

Refrigerator/Pantry
This is a good one. I take everything out and make sure I get rid of expired items and disinfect the shelves and all of that. It helps to do this one when you're low on groceries so you don't have to pull out a freshly stocked fridge and pantry. I also find that it helps because then you can do a full audit of things you need from the store.

Clothing/Shoes
Ok this isn't really a 'cleaning item' but whenever there is a change in season, I pull out all of the shoes that are showing a lot of wear and put them in a tote and right into my car. That way, I remember to take them to our cobbler so he is able to repair them, clean them up, etc. You don't want your shoes, especially winter shoes, to sit in your closet unworn for months without cleaning them up. This is because salt and grime from snow/rain can damage your shoes!

Besides shoes, I always take my coats to the dry cleaner and have them cleaned and then leave them in the plastic (swap out the wire hangers they use first for nice hangers so coats keep their shape) to store until I need them next fall/winter. This way, you are starting your seasons with clean, well-kept things!

Another tip in terms of clothing (this is really more for men) is to get formal items that you don't regularly wear dry cleaned quickly after you have worn them. My fiancé has forgotten to dry clean his tux after an event and then has to quickly scramble to get his tux dry cleaned right before the event! Ever since, he has always been good about getting his tux dry cleaned immediately so he can just pull it out right before the event knowing it's ready to go.

Laundry
Wash anything that you don't on a regular basis. If your curtains can be washed, do it. Bed skirts, mattress pad covers, throw pillow covers, euro shams, throw blankets, cushions, etc., etc.

Rugs
This one is so satisfying. Take your rugs outdoors and scrub/power wash your rugs. Let them dry and bring them back in fresh and clean. If you don't have a power washer, you can rent one from somewhere like Home Depot/Lowe's. They're actually not all that expensive to purchase, though, I find it more of a pain to have to store it if anything. Be careful, though, pay attention to the weave of your rug and what it is made of. You could end up ruining something if you don't make sure what to use on your specific rug! This is when you can also do your car's mats, too!

Replace Items
Get a new toothbrush, toss your toilet brushes, if your hairbrush is overly worn with missing bristles, get a new one and toss the old. Get rid of expired makeup, cleaning products, medications, etc. Replace overly worn towels, bath mats, sheets, etc. Toss old workout shoes, bras, etc. I don't know about you but sometimes I save these things but still never use them again and I don't know why I end up saving them in the first place! The key here is not to be wasteful, but be real with yourself and if it's overly worn and no longer serving a purpose for you, get rid of it!

There are a million and one things to clean and organize but I wanted to start with these! I will share more in another post in the near future! Do you have any spring cleaning tips to share?!

The Perfect Spring Dress

Flats (use code SARAHFLINT-SYDNEY50 for $50 off)
Shop the Outfit:

We have had the most beautiful weather this week. It's been warm and sunny and it's just so rare for March in Pittsburgh so I have been SOAKING it up. Long walks and lunch outside are the best! It was also a good excuse to wear some new dresses. This dress, in particular, is such a good find!

I actually found it after finding the dress you see in the photo above. I loved the shape and color of this dress so much. It was $200 and the fabric was totally seethrough. I don't love wearing slips and I feel like at $200, it should not be seethrough! So, I returned this dress and literally the next day stumped upon the striped dress

The striped dress is worlds better. The fabric is a nice-quality oxford cloth (not seethrough!) and has a great fit-and-flare shape. The only thing it lacks is a collar, and I don't mind it collarless at all. My mom was over when I got the package and I tried it on and as soon as she saw it on, she ordered herself one!

Shirtdresses are classic and perfect for this in-between weather. They look cute with sweaters overtop of them for chillier days. They also work nicely with blazers and cardigans and trench coats!

Lately

This was a slow week and not really the best, but oh well- we did have nice weather! This past weekend, I was excited about a fun estate sale find that I brought home- a chest and I immediately started to fill it with entertaining items like my napkins! I love to collect cloth napkins. This piece is now in the area where we had our bar cabinet and we moved that onto the opposite wall and it really changed up how the space felt... kind of like a whole new room, ha! But now I need to figure out how to style this, I really have no idea what to do... I ordered a lamp so I'll see how that works out. It's not really the tabletop of it that I am having trouble envisioning, but it's the wall above it- I am never good at knowing what to hang on the walls!

This past weekend we also cleared out the garage and finally donated and trashed a bunch of things that had been sitting there for a while. It also feels like an entirely new garage, ha!!

I was also able to take quite a few outfit photos this week since we had such nice weather. Finally!! The only thing I don't love about spring in Pittsburgh is that it takes quite a while for things to turn green and bloom. A lot of outdoor photos right now just look so drab with all the brown still out there. I cannot wait for things to start blooming and leaves to start popping up on the trees!
Wearing: I just got this skort and oh my goodness it is SO nice. Well made in a nice thick terrycloth cotton fabric. It has shorts underneath. I got a small and it fits true to size. It's like lounge/athleisure but looks so cute and definitely does not look like you are wearing lounge or athletic clothes!
Eating: A salmon wrap and caesar side salad from The Porch... they have great food if you are in the Pittsburgh area!

Drinking: I posted my 'lightened up' margarita recipe on Reels last Friday. Do you all like reels on Instagram? I think they are fun, but I personally prefer Instastories!

Reading: Pet-friendly planting ideas... you guys, I had NO Idea boxwoods were dangerous to pets! This article was eye-opening. We have boxwoods all over! Henry has never shown any interest in them, which makes me feel a bit better, but I still worry! Hydrangeas are even on the list- I grew them last summer and again, Henry had no interest in them, but I'm glad to be aware of this now! I did know about Lily of the Valley and Poinsetta. I was actually wanting to do a Lily of the Valley nosegay as my bridal bouquet, but once I read that it is toxic to dogs, I changed it!

Sale: I really love these Jackie sandals- I bought a pair on sale and they are still on sale. They're a little different than the traditional Jack Rogers sandals and, dare I say, I think I like them more!! They're just a good, neutral sandal you can wear with everything!

Watching:
Have you all seen a good movie lately? We haven't watched anything good lately and I cannot remember the last time we watched a really good movie!
Wanting: I didn't spot too much this week. I look forward to April as retailers release more warm-weather dress options. I want to wear a dress basically every day of the summer!

Pittsburgh: Did you all see Gi-jin is finally opening downtown! I love gin and love sushi so this seems right up my alley!

Smelling: I'm not normally a honeysuckle fan, but this is one of my favorite spring scents. It's so light and fresh and not overly floral!

Lately, the amount of requests I have been getting to share dresses for upcoming occasions is crazy! From Easter to graduations to weddings to showers to christenings and more, you have all let me know loud and clear you would like a big dress roundup, so look no further than today's post!

There are LOTS of dresses to look through below! I broke them down into two categories- casual and dressy. Casual is sundresses and dressy is more cocktail attire focused! You will have to scroll down pretty far with the way I have this set up so keep scrolling.

I'll do a few more of these roundups in the next month or two as more cute dresses catch my eye and as we get further into spring and closer to summer!

Fashion Finds Lately

Shorts (40%off with code FRIEND, extra 10% off with code FAMILY)

Sharing a roundup of things I have shared briefly on Instastories the past few weeks. I have found some really great pieces and haven't really shared too much of them here!!

To start off, I'm chatting about this very casual outfit. This Tee is super affordable and nice quality. Overall, it's a great closet basic and comes in a ton of colors. The blue color I am wearing is from last year so it is no longer available but there are lots more colors available. I suggest sizing up if you want to dry in the dryer, but if you get your usual size, lay flat to dry!

These Shorts are a new favorite and currently on sale. I like that they are high waist and somewhat modest in length. A great pair of shorts to workout in or even just to walk the dog in! They are true to size.
In related news, Gap has quickly become one of my favorite spots to shop. You are probably not surprised after last week's post, but they have so many cute things and are always having a good sale. Today is the last day of their friends and family. I ordered a few items to try out. You can scroll through the widget above to see some things I am loving.

This sweater is a $23 Amazon find... SO cute. It comes in different solid colors as well as some stripes. It's 100% cotton. I am wearing a size small and it fits pretty true to size. It's so nice for the price.

Oh my goodness this dress is SO GOOD. I just got it last week and once I put it on, I didn't want to take it off. This is a thick cotton fabric that feels nice quality but is sure to keep you cool during the hottest months. It's casual but the way it drapes has such elegance about it. You could wear it to a casual cocktail event or even as a pool coverup, that's how versatile it is. I would suggest sizing down one size!

This is the most beautiful print. It reminds me of Schumacher's Pine Hollyhock print. The fabric on this is not the nicest, but it's still fine. It ties at the shoulders and there is smocking at the back so you really get a perfect fit. It skews dressier so it would be the perfect thing for a cocktail party or wedding.

This is one of my most favorite jackets ever. It's the perfect weight for spring. It's on sale! I also love these flower earrings, they add a fun pop of blue!

Another 100% cotton Amazon find that is under $30. Isn't this adorable and such a classic?! I got a size medium for a roomier fit.

Kitchen Lighting

Today we are chatting about home decor. One day earlier this month I got this random idea in my head that I wanted to put sconces in above our big kitchen window. Under the window, there is some counter space on either side of the sink. We have ceiling can lights all throughout our home, but I loathe ceiling lighting. I much prefer lamp light so our ceiling lights almost never get used. However, in the kitchen, we really have to use the overhead lights because there is not enough room for lots of lamps.

Even with the ceiling light, there is somewhat of a 'dead space' near the kitchen window/countertops where it just doesn't get great light, even with the ceiling lights on. It has always bothered me but I didn't really think there was a fix and I really don't know how I didn't think to have sconces installed before! I am not trying to spend much on updates for this house (as I've mentioned before), so I was glad to know that having these sconces installed was really not very expensive.

Right now, above the window, I have blue plates hung in a line so those will be taken down and 3 sconces will be installed. It's going to be a bit of a lift because drywall has to be removed and new wires and all of that have to be put in and I guess the window is something that makes things a little more time-consuming. Not quite sure of all the technicalities but I am excited anyway!

I will share before and after photos in a separate post once it's all done!

So, once this idea popped into my head, I took to Pinterest to find what I was picturing in my head. Sure enough, in true Pinterest fashion, there were lots of beautiful inspiration photos. I am going to share some of them with you today that gave me the push to hire an electrician and have it done! You can see my Pinterest home board, here.

I started to look for sconces and there are SO many to choose from, it was so overwhelming. However, at first, I wasn't taking into account that I would need them delivered within a maximum of 3 weeks from when I ordered. That cut down my options hugely! Whoops. But it all worked out and I love the sconces that I chose... I will share the in the before and after post so everything is all in one place!

They will get installed next week and I am so excited to see the finished product! We had to hire a separate guy to repair the drywall and all of that, so hopefully, all goes smoothly and if it does, I will also be happy to share the contacts with anyone locally in Pittsburgh! Not only do I think this will be so nice to have this extra lighting in the kitchen, but I also think it will look visually appealing! Stay tuned!

Saturday Shopping

Happy weekend, friends! I am off to an estate sale this morning. They are always hit or miss but from the photos, this looks like a good one! Not too much this week that I found, but scroll down to see what I've been loving!

Nude Flats (use code SARAHFLINT-SYDNEY50 for $50 off)
Shop the Outfit:
I have received some feedback from you all that you really enjoy the 'traditional'/old school outfit posts. To be honest, this past winter I wore much of the same thing day-in and day-out but now as spring arrives and more things seem to be going on, I am getting so inspired to switch things up a bit!

I have been mentioned this before, but I have been having such a tough time lately finding new things of quality!! I have seen so many cute things online and have ordered so much, but almost everything I have received thus far has really been a disappointment. The fabrics have felt cheap, and many, even see-through! I've also found the fit on a lot of pieces to be kind of odd/off... and this is what I've been seeing across the board, not just a few brands!

I feel like the older I get, the more discerning I am with things I add to my closet. So maybe I am just being super picky...

Anyway, I can confidently share this outfit with you all and say that these pieces are truly nice quality and great for spring!

Blue and white in some form is a go-to uniform for me in the spring/summer months. This Navy Sweater is the perfect spring weight. It has an open-knit pattern and made of cotton so even though it feels thick, it's actually very breathable!

I've also shared these Jeans a bunch before. I have really loved the Mother brand. Their denim is so nicely made and comfortable and flattering. It's a little pricey, but worth it in my opinion!

Sarah Flint's Nude Flats are easily my most-worn shoe in the past year. I think they're so beautiful and classic and beyond comfortable. They're all I really want to put on my feet! They gave me a code SARAHFLINT-SYDNEY50 for $50 off!

And I have been stalking the internet to see when these tortoise Sunglasses will come back in stock. They are my favorite and I wear them SO often. They are literally out of stock everywhere!! But I will certainly alert all of you when they come back in stock. At $99 they are nicer than most of my $300ish sunglasses!!

Lastly, my navy cashmere wrap is ON SALE! It is 25% off which is helpful because they are not cheap but oh my goodness they are so luxurious. I have several colors and wear them often.

Lately

Dress (on sale)

Another week of nice weather in the books! I do not want to speak too soon...a blizzard could still happen. I was born on April 14th and my parents brought me home as it was snowing... but I do feel like we are headed to full-on spring now. Next week's forecast is looking so nice- I almost want to uncover our patio furniture, but that will really jinx it, ha!

I'm getting excited about planting basil and some flowers again. I had fun with that last year and think I want to branch out to try planting more herbs. There is nothing better than fresh herbs- it was so lovely to be able to run out back and grab some fresh basil for lunches and dinners! I found a few cute planters at Homegoods recently so definitely check your Homegoods if you are looking for pretty planters!

This week was a lot of screentime- basically on the computer all week. That's never exciting, but I am always happy to get it done. I have hung on to my Macbook pro from SO many years ago because I didn't want to get the newer one where you have to have an external card reader/USB/etc. and there are hints that there is a new Macbook coming where you don't have to have anything external. I'm so excited- if that ends up to be the case, I am going to order one!

Wearing:
I have been searching high and low for pretty spring dresses and I feel like MOST of what I have ordered has been such a miss- ill fitting, poor quality, etc. Disappointing, BUT,  this is a beautiful dress and is now on my list of Easter contenders. Size down. I am wearing a size 2 and probably could have gone down to the 0... it is only fitted at the waist (and even at the waist it has some stretch).

Eating: I made corned beef and cabbage last night to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. My mom has always made this and I love it so much. I used her recipe (which was so easy) and it turned out delicious!! I ended up buying a second corned beef to make at a later date (put in the freezer) because it's hard to find outside of March and I would love to make it again even outside of St. Patrick's Day! This is an odd thing to love, I guess, but I LOVE cabbage, ha!

Reading: The American Kennel Club put out the top 2020 dog breeds, can you guess which is #1?!

Watching: I'm currently watching 90 Day Fiancé and Summer House. Two mindless reality TV shows but I love both- even my fiancé watches Summer House with me, which I find funny because he does not like reality TV at all. This season of 90 Day Fiancé has been WILD. I'm literally excited each week to watch the new episode, haha!!

Listening: I haven't really found a lot to listen to lately. I've just been playing old favorites like Dave Matthews Band, which always feels good on a sunny day!

Loving: 100% of the proceeds of this necklace from Talbots go to Dress For Success!
Loving II: Remember this post about my love for this eye brightener? It is IN-STOCK as of posting this!
Wanting: Oh my goodness this black gingham Mackintosh Jacket!!! I also love these little pedestal soup bowls. Only $9 which is a steal!
Pittsburgh: Do not walk, run to Penn Ave Fish Co. for their salmon bagel. OH MY GOSH. It was so incredible. Honestly, a really good bagel is hard to find in Pittsburgh and this is one of the best I have had in Pittsburgh. Fantastic!

Smelling: This is one of my favorite scents and I am craving a new bottle of it!

Quoting: 'We should be lifting each other up and cheering each other on, not trying to outshine one another. The sky would be awfully dark with just one star.' // See more of my favorites, here.

Wish List

Shop the Items:
Happy St. Patrick's Day, everyone! Are you doing anything to celebrate? We are making corned beef and cabbage- I am so excited as I love anything with cabbage in it and this is actually one of my favorite meals that I definitely don't make often enough (it's hard to find corned beef unless it is around St. Patrick's Day!). Today I am sharing my wish list- lots of spring goodies to check out. I feel like I say this often, but I didn't even mean for this to turn into a collage of all blues, but here we are... and NO ONE is surprised, ha!!

Dior Highlighter// This is getting really good reviews and the colors are stunning.

Blue Glassware// So fun for a margarita or delicious spring/summer cocktail!

Rugby Dress// Do you all remember Ralph Lauren Rugby? I LOVED that brand so much and their store in Georgetown. This dress definitely has Rugby vibes!

Blue Printed Dress// So cute- one of those effortless 'throw on and go' type dresses. Would also be cute as a swimsuit coverup!

Grasscloth Sandals// A great neutral classic sandal that will go with pretty much everything.

White Sweatshirt// SUCH a classic!

Lip Smart// This is another find that has good reviews- it's supposed to really help to moisturize your lips way better than most chapsticks. My lips are always SO dry so I am willing to try anything!

Wicker Tote// Such a pretty basket bag. The only problem with owning too many basket bags is that they take up so much space!

Striped Maxi Skirt// This is stunning. I am picturing it paired with a white linen button-down tied up at the waist.

Lilac Salad Plates// Gorgeous. I'm not super into floral print dinnerware but I actually really love this.

Diamond Bangle// This looks similar to the one I wear daily. I love bezel settings so this one is really calling my name!

Bow Mules// How fun are these? Classic with a bit of a twist.

Jeweled Pumps// I have absolutely nowhere to wear these but are these not SO FUN!!! If I didn't already have my wedding shoes, I would definitely consider these.

Cashmere Scarf// My favorite cashmere travel wrap in a beautiful blue hue.

Swimsuit// Love the print on this. I have a J.Crew suit with a similar ruffled neckline and it is flattering, so I think this is a great silhouette!

Blue and White Dress// Another flowy, easy summer dress that can double as a swimsuit coverup. I love pieces that I can wear for multiple purposes/occasions.

Affordable Blue and White Curtains

Exclusive Fabrics Fleur Cotton Printed Single Curtain Panel

Exclusive Fabrics Fleur Cotton Printed Single Curtain Panel

Exclusive Fabrics Fleur Cotton Printed Single Curtain Panel

Exclusive Fabrics Fleur Cotton Printed Single Curtain Panel

Exclusive Fabrics Fleur Cotton Printed Single Curtain Panel
You have all seen these blue and white Curtains in the background of many of my photos. I have 4 panels in our living room area and I love them. It seems you all do, too, as every single time they pop up in a photo, I get asked where they are from. I really can't believe it's taken me this long to get a post up about these!

I wanted printed Curtains to warm up our builder-grade house but I did not want to spend a fortune on designer fabric and custom-made curtains. First of all, there are SO many options for drapery. I really had no idea until I started looking. Even if you want affordable curtains, there are TONS of options.

I was getting so overwhelmed with so many options. At the same time, since I didn't want to spend much, I was also wary of the overall quality. It's hard to tell online and I definitely didn't want them to appear cheapy.

So I read reviews for dozens of different Curtains. I googled the brands and the prints to try and find pictures of them from people that actually bought them and even did a digital mockup on my windows to make sure they would look OK before ordering.

Enter these Curtains. There were lots of different lengths to choose from and lots of positive reviews. I saw many photos of them in other people's homes and thought they looked great.

When I opened the package and finally saw them in person, I was honestly floored at how nice they were for the price. They start at $50 per panel, which if you have ever browsed for curtains, this is such an inexpensive price.

When we hung them up, I loved them even more. Now, almost 2 years later and I love them as much as the day I purchased them. Even when we move and I potentially splurge on custom drapery, I fully plan on trying to make these work somehow... I bought 4 extra panels in case they became discontinued, ha!!

So here are the details- I often get asked many specific questions about them so hopefully, this will be a good resource for those of you wondering about them!

- They are fully lined in a plain white fabric

- They are not blackout but they are thick and so they do a pretty good job at blocking out the light. I'd be confident putting these in a bedroom.

- They have a rod pocket.

- They are hemmed nicely and there are several lengths you can choose from.

- The printed fabric itself does not look cheap. It's weighty and has a texture to it that you can't really see unless you look very closely. That texture just makes them look higher end from a distance.

- The blue colors skew 'cold' but the white background is not a super bright white so that helps to warm them up a bit!
