Hope you are all having a lovely week! Can you believe we are just 11 days to Christmas and 17 days left in 2023? It's wild. I love this time of year and try to savor it as best I can! It's getting down to the wire for gifts- brands are starting to give their cutoff shipping dates so check out my gift guides to get your last minute shopping in:
2023 Gift Guides:
This past weekend was unseasonably warm, and we have only had a few chilly days this week, so I've literally been soaking up the outdoors and taking Henry on as long of walks as possible. We have even had some SUN!
We ventured downtown over the weekend to take in all of the beautiful decorations and visit the holiday market. It was packed because it was so warm, so we only stayed a few hours, but it was fun! This week has been pretty standard. I usually have our Christmas cards out by now, but I popped them in the mail just this week as I kept putting off getting stamps!
I have a girlfriend's cookie exchange tonight, which will be fun. There is just something so Pittsburgh about a table filled with cookies. Haha!
I am working on my 'Favorites of 2023' list, which will be published on Friday, December 22nd (next Friday). That will be my last post of the year, as I always take off the last week of December. I will return on Tuesday, January 2nd, with new blog posts!
I'm toying around with some ideas for 2024- I've been considering turning this Lately post into a newsletter. I have not finalized anything, but I'm strongly considering it. Let me know what you all think about that!
Wearing: This is what I wore this past weekend downtown! Are you following me on the LikeToKnowIt app?! You can shop all of my outfits, favorite finds, and more in the app. I am constantly updating it with the latest! You can also access all of my posts, here, if you don't use LTK!Eating: This prosciutto arugula pear appetizer is on my to-make list because it is SO easy and I love every single ingredient. YUM. This is so cute, too, caesar salad wonton cups except I think I'd make parmesan crisps as the base.
Watching: We just finished 'Who Is Erin Carter' on Netflix and it was really good. Sometimes the action scenes got a bit ridiculous, but overall the storyline was wild and it is worth the watch. I am so excited to watch The Crown new episodes that just came out today but I think I am going to save them for that relaxing week between Christmas and New Years!
Loving: We had the best experience with Pawsitively Purrfect Pittsburgh Mobile Grooming this past weekend. One of you all recommended it as I was looking for a mobile groomer due to the dog illness that is going around right now. I had never done a mobile groomer before and the van just rolled right into our driveway and Henry went in with Samantha and in an hour, he was done! Samantha was AMAZING. I could tell Henry really liked her which is great and his coat has never been cleaner and softer and his nails are the best they have ever been. I'm seriously blown away. It's best to make an appointment in advance as spots fill up quickly due to them only doing one dog at a time. Henry was $100ish just for reference and they gave him the cutest tartan bow. Can you tell how pleased I was with it all? Highly recommend!
Wanting: These towels are darling and a cute bath mat, too! A fun New Year's Eve headband! These shoes are FABULOUS! Boiled cashmere is my weakness!
Pittsburgh: Apparently, Primanti's had their best year yet, and they're doing a buy-one-sand-get-one-free on Sunday! I am sooooo team Primanti's. I love it. Love love, love it. In fact, we just had it on Saturday.
Amazon Rec: Need a festive touch for your guest or powder bath? I love collecting holiday hand towels! These tartan towels are so cute! You can find more of my Amazon favorites, here on my Amazon page where I am constantly updating it with all of my finds and top picks from home, beauty, fashion, and more!
Amazon Rec II: I love these tumblers so much and think I am going to get the clear version to replace our daily glassware! They would make such a nice gift!
Smelling: My skin has been so dry lately, and I've been using this oil all over my body. It's dry and sinks in quickly but is so hydrating. It also smells insanely good (kind of reminds me of Aesop), but the smell doesn't linger too long, so you can wear perfume and things like that! Read the reviews- it really is amazing!

Have you also tried the OSEA body oil? If so, how does the dermologica oil compare to the OSEA oil? Thanks!
