Gift Guide: My Wish List

Gift Guide: My Wish List
Shop the Guide:
I need nothing. How lucky am I to be able to say that I need nothing? I am so incredibly grateful for all that I have. My true wishes are things that, unfortunately, cannot be placed under the tree. I'm sure so many of you reading can relate. So, first, if you haven't, go check out my giving Tuesday post to see how you can help those who truly do need it. Then come on back as I can promise fun and frivolity for this Monday!

This is always the most requested gift guide. I know many of you use this particular gift guide as a guide for your mom, your sister, your aunt, yourself, etc. and I love that!

Also as a disclaimer, this list is just a bunch of things I love and would like to have. I absolutely never get all of this or ever buy myself all of this. I try to include lots of different things at different price ranges.

Gardening Tools// So I kept my basil alive all summer. I didn't even have a hand shovel, I just used a solo cup to plant it haha! I figured it was time I at least get a hand shovel for next year's basil.

Tie-dye Sweatshirt// This has been on my wish list for a long time. I cannot buy myself another sweatshirt, but I love them. Hence why I think giving someone something that they won't buy themselves is always a good idea.

Lotion// This scent is one of my all-time favorites. It's a light scent that smells fresh but also a little musky, too.

Shower Gel// I had no idea this scent came in lotion or shower gel and now I want them both. I use the spray all of the time.

Headband// I love the fabric of this headband. I think it would look so polished with a simple white button-down and jeans.

Coffee Table Book// This is #1 on my coffee table book wish list. So gorgeous! I always think coffee table books are very 'safe' and a good idea for someone who has everything. You can always use another book! Here is a list of some of my favorites

Pajama Set// Always on my wish list. I can never have too many sets, it's basically all I wear anymore! SO soft, so comfortable.

Garden Candle// This smells incredible and reminds me of something I have smelled before but cannot put my finger on it. It smells way $$$ than it costs! A great stocking stuffer.

Tinted Lip Balm// I love this tinted lip balm. I have the color deep but would like the intense shade. It is very similar to the Dior Lip Glow that I love so much, but this is about $8 less. I would say I get a little more color out of these than the Dior.

Blush Stick// I have heard so many amazing things about this makeup brand and I have not yet tried it.I also really want to try this highlighter. The colors look beautiful.

Artis Foundation Brush// I have seen these brushes all over Instagram and I wonder if they are worth the hype. The brushes have densely packed bristles so it is supposed to soak up less product (meaning you waste less) and is supposed to give you a flawless application of foundation.

Scalloped Frame// I have one of these frames and I'd love two more so I can hang 3 in  a row on the wall. This frame is gorgeous and special!

Wood Sage and Sea Salt Candle// One of my all-time favorite scents. It's a little bit manly, a little bit feminine, and not overpowering in any way. I wear this perfume almost daily.

Blockprint Napkkins// I mean SO cute and would dress up even the simplest of tables.

Tank Watch Strap// I have a Cartier tank watch with the black strap but I really want to get navy or brown or even beige/taupe if I can find it.

Sunglasses// I have these in tortoise and I LOVE them. They're oversized, chic, and classic in a Jackie-O kind of way.

Green Glasses// I love colored glassware and these green glasses are darling. Green glassware always reminds me of The Greenbrier.

Memory Card// These are the best memory cards ever. I really only shoot with these as they are high quality and SO fast.

Nude Pumps// I have this nude shade in flats and wear them non-stop so I'd love a pair of the pumps!

Ergatta Rower// I love rowing so much. This rower was designed to be functional and beautiful so if it is sitting out, it won't be an eyesore. Plus, it folds up when you are not using it and truly looks like art/a piece of furniture. I also like that they have challenges and races instead of just instruction so it is motivational. This is probably #1 on my wish list. I didn't include a treadmill, but I also want the Freemotion Reflex t11.3 Treadmill, which is very $$$ and hard to find. One can dream.

I also wanted to share a few past wish lists because a lot of items are still available and really great, too!

If you like to shop, I think creating a wish list and updating it throughout the year is a really smart idea to keep from overbuying or having buyer's remorse. Because of the nature of my job, I always keep a running list but those lists truly help me to truly figure out what I *really* want. I just keep it in the notes on my phone. I see items drop off my list over the months and then realize I didn't really want those things and then over time, I am able to very clearly see the items that stay on the list for months or even years at a time.

It's actually really interesting to see some of the items from my past Christmas wish lists as I feel like they are all items I either still want or have gotten and still love to this day. I attribute my wish list 'accuracy' to keeping and editing a constant wish list.

You can do this with your home decorating, too. I put home items I want in a list or home projects I want to accomplish and over time I edit it and add or subtract to help me to decide what to tackle next or what to buy next.

Our orangetheory just upgraded all of the treadmills so maybe contact your studio to see if they have plans and maybe you can buy one from them if they do!
