Today is for the men in our life! I find men so hard to shop for!!! As always, this guide is inspired by my dad and husband. Both love golf, skiing, traveling, dogs, a stiff cocktail, live music, classic/preppy clothing and accessories, and sports. So, if this sounds like any guy in your life, this gift guide will help.
This is my first time doing a two-part gift guide because I wanted to dedicate an entire post to men's clothing, and adding in other more items would have made this post a mile long! Tomorrow will include more 'giftable' items. I am always getting asked about men's clothing, where to shop, what to buy, etc., so this could be very helpful for some of you! I tried to include primarily items my husband owns and am only sharing from brands I've shopped before and can vouch for quality!
Green Puffer Vest// My husband and I both have this vest, and I love it so much! It's lightweight but still nice and warm and such a classic look!
Quilted Crewneck// A nice lightweight option in lieu of a typical sweatshirt.
Striped Button Down Shirt// The 'regent' fit button-downs are cut so perfectly- not too slim, not too baggy.
Suede Boots// Such a classic style for casualwear and comfortable, too!
Khaki Chinos// Overall, Polo Ralph Lauren pants fit my husband best. They're tailored without being too slim, and the quality is great for the price.
Pima Cotton Pajamas// Everyone I know who has tried Lake has loved the brand. The Pima cotton is incredibly soft and so comfortable! There are many men's styles to choose from! My husband got the size XL, which is a size up from his usual size since they shrink in the dryer.
Quilted Jacket// There are many quilted jackets out there, so it just depends on what style works, but this is a great option and also comes in brown.
Herringbone Vest// My husband wears a lot of vests in the fall and winter and this one is so handsome but still feels and fits like a regular athletic vest!
Down Puffer Jacket// This is a classic puffer that is warm enough for most winter days and comfortable to wear in the car as it is not super bulky. It comes in many colors, and they make it for women, too.
Suede Chelsea Boots// This shoe style looks great on most men, regardless of their style. They are simple and classic and work as a chameleon because they pair with many different styles.
Needlepoint Belt // My husband and dad both collect these gorgeous needlepoint belts. They're beautiful and add a nice texture and some color to an outfit.
Cashmere Quarter Zip// You can never go wrong with a simple quarter zip- this cashmere is soft, high-quality, and has a subtle ribbed knit pattern.
Corduroy Pants// This is another great pant find! These are cut more like trousers rather than denim, making them look a bit more polished than typical corduroys. The navy is a good, deep navy that pairs with so much.
Dark Wash Jeans// These are my favorite pair of jeans in my husband's closet. They are well-tailored, and the dark wash looks so polished.
Jeans// This is a more casual style of jeans than the other pair I shared above. They have a slightly lighter wash, though, still dark/mid-blue. The quality is top-notch, and the fit is slightly looser than the RL pair.
Blue Sneakers// Love the 574's, such a classic style and inexpensive!
Sneakers// These are a good-looking pair of sneakers. To me, they skew a less athletic and more 'fashionable'... they have to have the gum sole!
Herringbone Loafers// How fun are these?!
Fisherman Crewneck// I think this is one of the most classic sweaters of all time for anyone of any age. I have a similar sweater, and this is one of my husband's most-worn sweaters. It's like wearing a prettier sweatshirt- warm, comfortable, cozy!
Poplin Button-Down// This is another button-down with a great fit- tailored but not overly slim! The fabric is lightweight- lighter than the Brooks Brothers one I recommended at the beginning of this post!
Knit Polo// This is like a prettier version of a golf shirt, which my husband would wear daily otherwise.
Venetian Loafers// These give you the Loro Piana look for much less. They're classic and comfortable and work with a multitude of outfits.
Fleece Pullover// Easily one of my husband's most worn winter clothes. It's thick and warm!
Winter Parka// This feels similar to my Canada Goose parka for a fraction of the cost. This is a true winter parka for when it is absolutely frigid outside. My husband loves this.
Quilted Jacket// Another super classic quilted jacket. As of writing this, it's over 50% off which is crazy because this is one of the classic styles.
Leather Belt// Outside of Smathers and Branson needlepoint belts, J. McLaughlin makes the best belts!
Swim Trunks// These are handsome and have many print/color options. My husband thinks they are very comfortable. They run TTS!
