Today I am sharing my *last* 2025 favorites list! This list comprises items I share in my monthly favorites lists!
If the item is on this list, it is a show-stopper and gets my highest seal of approval! I also try to select only items that are still available/in stock, and I don't repeat items from past years. You can review 2024's list here. This year, I switched things up, and the list is 3 parts, organized by category. Beauty and Fashion went live earlier this month!
Rug// I took a gamble on this rug this summer because the listing was final sale. With rugs, you never know the true colors until you get them in your space. The gamble was worth it, though, because not only are the colors gorgeous and the size perfect for our kitchen, I cannot get over how nicely it is made. Etsy for the win!
Portable Speaker// I'm a Bose gal for life, as that's what my dad always used and still uses. Anyway, I got this portable speaker in early summer, and we have used it SO much! We love it. The sound is so full and crisp, and it's easy to move around our space.
Surface Wipes// These wipes are supposedly less toxic than your typical surface-cleaning wipes, and you can use them on surfaces and your hands. The dispenser is sleek and neutral, matching a space without sticking out like a sore thumb. I have the mini size in both of our cars, and they are SO handy since I can wipe up messes but also clean my hands. Honestly, I love the home wipes, but the mini size for the car is the actual game-changer.
Hand Soap// There are many luxury hand soaps I love, but I think this one takes the cake. Unfortunately, this is also the most expensive hand soap I've ever used. So, I think when you factor in price, this one is a better 'deal' and almost as good (totally different scent), but my husband and I both agree this is the best smell we have ever smelled. They do sell a refill, which is significantly less costly. This hand soap is also highly fragrant, so if you are sensitive to smells, it could be too strong. It smells like perfume after you wash your hands. If they sold this as perfume, I'd be first in line. The notes are sea salt, pine, and cypress. It smells so crisp and fresh, but also complex. My husband loves it so much that he uses the body lotion, too.
Needlepoint Pillow// I love these cheeky needlepoint pillows. I don't needlepoint myself, but I love the look of it. They have so many good sayings; there is something for everyone. I think this is such a good gift idea.
Olives// Is it random to have olives on this list? Maybe, but you all know I love a good dirty martini, and these are specifically 'martini olives'. I was at my girlfriend's house, and her husband made me a martini. I eventually finished the cocktail and, of course, went to eat the olives, and I had to ask her where she got them because they were incredible olives. I've switched to these and never looked back. They have different kinds, and they're all good, but these are my favorites. They are so rich, meaty, and crisp. I love olives, so sometimes I'll add these to a snack plate.
Coffee Maker// We had to replace our drip coffee maker this year and landed on this one! I have a full blog post reviewing it, so I won't go into much detail, but if you are looking for a new drip machine, we have been so pleased with this one!
Wood Cutting Board// Would you believe it if I told you this was my first-ever Mackenzie-Childs purchase? We have a few small pieces, like a wedding ornament, that were gifts, but this was my first-ever order! I love the look, but I just never felt a strong draw to anything. We have even been to the factory in Aurora, New York, which is wonderful! I cannot get over the beautiful craftsmanship of this cutting board. It is by far one of my favorite things in our kitchen. It's gorgeous but also useful. We use it to chop everything as it is the perfect small, everyday size.
Honey// I will be the first to tell you I'm not a big honey person. I like honey in marinades and sauces for cooking, but I don't put it in my tea, yogurt, or anything like that. I've just never loved the flavor. This honey has turned me into a fan. It's SO good. I could eat it by the spoonful. In fact, if you do order it, I recommend eating it on something where you can really taste it because it has so much flavor. I really love a piece of salty, sharp cheddar, a piece of spicy salami, and a little drizzle of honey on top. It's beyond!!
Cutting Board// These cutting boards are amazing, too. These are an alternative to plastic- they are thin in the same way many plastic cutting boards are, so they are quick and easy to store and aren't as beautiful as traditional wood cutting boards, but instead more utilitarian with less upkeep. They work SO well, so ditching the plastic is easy. They say you can wash them in the dishwasher, but I have always hand-washed them.
Leather Pouch// This probably should have gone on the fashion and accessories list, but better late than never! This pouch is made of gorgeous leather. There are several colors to choose from, and the size is perfect for stashing in a tote. These are sleek and elevated, and I'd love to collect more sizes over the years!
Cookware Set// I've written about this set often, but these are truly nonstick pots and pans. Truly! They are so easy to clean and have held up well. We have a nice collection of All-Clad stainless pans, Staub and Le Creuset pots, and various cast-iron skillets, all of which we love. But, day-to-day, this is what I tend to reach for! In my opinion, the cleaning and upkeep are just easier! They are also pretty with a nice color selection!
