Another month has come and gone, and I added so many favorites to the list this month!
Perfume// This perfume is lovely. The notes are 'Calabrian bergamot, white butterfly jasmine, and sandalwood'. Bergamot and sandalwood are always two things I look for when it comes to fragrances, as I just love those notes. This is very light and refreshing. It doesn't last all day, though. You have to reapply after several hours, but it smells so good that I don't mind.
Black Dress// I LOVE this black dress. It is so versatile and comfortable. It's cotton poplin but looks dressier than the fabric suggests. It runs big, so size down. I rarely wear an XS, but I got an XS in this!
Puffer Vest// This puffer vest is of incredible quality. As of writing this, it's on sale, and my code, SYDNEY25 (one-time use), can be added for an extra 25% off. It's the perfect weight. It's warm without being too bulky. I love the fleece lining and the heavyweight and shiny gold zipper details.
Window and Glass Spray// I have used Force of Nature for many years to clean most of our homes. It uses electricity to convert tap water plus a capsule of salt, water & vinegar into an organic multi-purpose cleaner and deodorizer. The beaker that does the conversion is part of the starter kit. It's a large upfront cost but inexpensive when you need to order refill packets. It's like $1 a packet, replacing the need for many different cleaning products. It works so well. However, the one area where it could use improvement is on mirrors. It doesn't leave streaks or anything like that, but it never leaves the mirror looking crisp. I caved and bought this pink stuff, and WOW. It works so well and makes mirrors and windows look gleaming. The product claims it is all-natural, but I need to fact-check that... all I know is that it works WELL.
Ballet Flats// These are beautiful leather ballet flats, but what sets them apart is a hidden wedge in the shoe's sole. It's a slight wedge; you can't feel or see it, but it makes the flats SO comfortable. I have a very high arch, so flats can hurt my feet, and these don't!
Hand Soap// This hand soap is incredible. It's such a treat to use and comes in the most beautiful glass dispenser. It would make such a nice gift. I go into my powder room specifically to use that soap because it smells so wonderful.
Lip Balm// This is in the running to be my favorite lip balm of all time. If you have ever used the Sugar Advanced lip balm, this is similar in feel, but it glides better, and there is a faint scent of lavender, which smells so fresh and calming. I cannot get enough. The only downside is that the package leaves something to be desired. It's designed to be eco-friendly, so that's good; it's just a bit flimsy, in my opinion. My code SYDNEY15 works on this. I am also loving their hand cream... I prefer it over the Aesop, which has been my go-to hand cream for a while. It dries quickly but feels and smells luxurious.
Vase// I love this vase, especially around this time of year! I have it filled with dried hydrangeas right now on my dining room table, and it gives off the perfect traditional autumnal look!
Red Gel Nail Polish// My girlfriend recommended this gel nail polish brand and specifically this color. I love it. It's a cool-toned red but deeper than my favorite OPI Big Apple Red! It's perfect for fall and winter.
Sneakers// These sneakers look white, but they are actually a very pale lavender. I wish they were white but I'm willing to overlook it because of how comfortable they are! I was searching for a supportive and comfortable sneaker for walking, and this kept coming up in my search. The reviews are all spot-on. If you've ever done gymnastics, it almost feels like walking on a spring floor when I am wearing these sneakers! I would love to wear them to Orange Theory because I think they would be so fun to run in on the treadmill. Still, I worry they won't fit in the rower- they are bulky (but lightweight), and I also worry they are not flat enough for floor exercises, but if you work out in them at Orange Theory, let me know!
Jeans// These straight-fit jeans are so stretchy that they feel like leggings. I've been wearing them on repeat because they look polished and classic, but mostly because they are just the most comfortable jeans! They run true to size, but if you are between sizes, size down because these have a ton of stretch to them!
